Zerolis Beach

Beach Zeloris (Zeloris or beach) is a beach located on the border of the municipality with the municipality of Alcobaça Beach Caravelas. The easiest access from Alcobaça Beach is via boat or canoe.
According to local tradition, the name Zeloris (generally pronounced "Zêlôris") is due to the name of the former owner of the farm located directly on the beach, José Loures. Even today, the beach is entirely without infrastructure for tourists and has rural character and semi-desert, sometimes occupied by mangroves and plenty of mud. Occasionally, it is possible to see groups of tourists fishing, collecting shellfish or simply enjoying the beach although the beach is relatively far from the city.

Coconut Beach

The Coconut Palms Beach, or the Coconut Beach is a semi-urban beach located after the lighthouse of Alcobaça toward Prado. This area, despite being full of subdivisions and tourist developments, is sparsely inhabited. This ensures quiet and bucolic landscapes.

There are several tourist developments (condos, lodges and clubs) in an area that 20 years ago began to be exploited for tourist cash by Mines. In summer, of course, this area is quite popular, but the rest of the year reigns absolute tranquility. Both summer off-season, many tourists seek Coconut Beach to visit the local bars and restaurants.

Alcobaça Beach

Alcobaça Beach (beach or the center of Alcobaça) is the most visited beach in the tourist town of the same name. The beach starts at the beginning of the center of the neighborhood of Novelo (near the municipal cemetery) and go to the area around the lighthouse (near the city bus station).

Throughout his long, is a quiet beach with no waves. There is also no rocks or coral reefs. At low tide (low tide), you can make beautiful walks. At high tide, the bath is recommended only for those who swim, as there may be reflux (stream).

The tents exist throughout the length of this beach, and offer tourists typical foods of the city.

Itanhém Beach

Urban beach with a large strip of sand and clear, which extends for three miles to where the river meets the sea. Right place, the river forms a bay calm and protected, sought primarily by bathers who prefer calm waters as well. It's still a beach cottage, just being viewed a beach shack.
