Jaguaribe Beach

Jaguaribe beach is a beach located at the mouth of Salvador's namesake river and from the beaches and Landings Piatã. This beach is quite popular, especially on weekends, by soteropolitanos.

This beach hosted the first stage of World Cup 2010 footvolley on 6 and 7 March, and in the four previous days of the first steps of the Circuits Brasileiros de Futevôlei Male and Female. The end of the world was made between the Paraguayan duo Victor and Tata and Brazil's Belo and Piao, who won by two sets to one.
