Coconut Beach

The Coconut Palms Beach, or the Coconut Beach is a semi-urban beach located after the lighthouse of Alcobaça toward Prado. This area, despite being full of subdivisions and tourist developments, is sparsely inhabited. This ensures quiet and bucolic landscapes.

There are several tourist developments (condos, lodges and clubs) in an area that 20 years ago began to be exploited for tourist cash by Mines. In summer, of course, this area is quite popular, but the rest of the year reigns absolute tranquility. Both summer off-season, many tourists seek Coconut Beach to visit the local bars and restaurants.
