The set of church and convent of St. Anthony is located in the city center of Cairo in Bahia in the high ground. Of viewpoints that exist in the circulation of a thin floor, guests enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and the countryside. Its facade, preceded by a cross of stone, is facing the strait separating the islands of Cairo and Boipeba. The monastery is wrapped on three sides and a large wooded garden, partly walled. On the left side of the church are the ruins of the chancel of the Third Order, which was never built. Access to the convent is by a steep driveway, follow the Straight Street. The small town that retains its air of colonial village, was scheduled as the historical center.
