Beach Zeloris (Zeloris or beach) is a beach located on the border of the municipality with the municipality of Alcobaça Beach Caravelas. The easiest access from Alcobaça Beach is via boat or canoe.
According to local tradition, the name Zeloris (generally pronounced "Zêlôris") is due to the name of the former owner of the farm located directly on the beach, José Loures. Even today, the beach is entirely without infrastructure for tourists and has rural character and semi-desert, sometimes occupied by mangroves and plenty of mud. Occasionally, it is possible to see groups of tourists fishing, collecting shellfish or simply enjoying the beach although the beach is relatively far from the city.
