Cashew Beach is a municipality in the state of Piaui. Its population in 2004 was 6143 inhabitants. It has an area of 283.86 km ².Originally it was called Timonha.
It is one of four coastal municipalities of Piauí.

Cashew Beach as a tourist attraction is the beach of Cashew. And part of the territory Cashew da Praia Grande Beach Bar, which is a small settlement inhabited only by fishermen in the past. And currently has several inns focused on tourism, especially the practice of kite, as this beach are found ideal conditions to practice this sport.
