The Delta Parnaíba

The Delta of is located between the Brazilian states of Piaui and Maranhao.

Is the Americas and the only one of the world's only open ocean.

Formed by Parnaíba, which has 1,485 km long, the delta Parnaíba opens in five branches, with 73 river islands. Its lush landscape filled with dunes, marshes and river islands, ensures the idyllic setting of this region of Piaui and Maranhao.
