Gramado is a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, located in the Serra Gaucha, more precisely the Region of hydrangeas. Its population in 2009 is 33,706 inhabitants. It has an area of 237.019 km ². Its main access is via RS-115 although it is also served by highways and RS-235 RS-373.Their demography is ethnically diverse, with strong German and Italian influence, which is reflected especially in the food and urban and rural architecture. The city is the third most visited tourist destination in Brazil.
