Winding along its course, the remarkable presence of anacondas in the lowlands of the Black River earned him the nickname Sucuruiuba. Its waters flow into the village of Mogiquiçaba, the best stretch to relax and bathe. The River offers plenty of fish: bass, mullet and piau, and oysters.
